Background

Continue 1.0 enables you to create, share, and use custom AI code assistants.

It does this by allowing users to create and share blocks, which can be combined together into custom AI code assistants. This is accomplished with a new config.yaml format, a block manager, and a block registry that underlie hub.continue.dev—the place assistants and blocks are created and shared. Our open-source VS Code and JetBrains extensions that developers know and love are the easiest way to use these custom AI code assistants.

The initial block types that can be used to create custom AI code assistants include Models, Rules, Prompts, Docs, Context, and Tools.

Partner Onboarding

1) Slack channel + GitHub repo + Continue org setup

We will work together on Slack, GitHub, and hub.continue.dev.

Please complete the following:

• [ ] Accept invite to the Slack connect channel (if you have not already)
• [ ] Accept invite to join your organization on hub.continue.dev
  1. You should have received an email from [email protected] that says “Continue Partners invited you to Continue”
  2. Press the “Open Continue” button
  3. We created your organization for you already, so you will be added as an admin to your organization after you create your account
• [ ] Create your account on hub.continue.dev
  1. Add your first and last name
  2. Add your username (if this is not possible yet, please Slack us what username you would like and we’ll change it manually)
  3. Create a password
  4. Complete onboarding (select Free Trial for fastest experience)
  5. Navigate to your organization page
     1. Click the profile icon in the top right
     2. Select “Organizations”
     3. Select your org
